It turns to N-S by nearly a right angle at Valdivia Bank, and upon resuming its SW-NE trend farther west, it splits into three quasi-linear chains, the Tristan, Center, and Gough tracks, part of the Guyot Province (Figure 1; Sager et al., 2024 ).
