I ended up putting mine in so they rest in the holder upside down (putting the lenses facing down while putting them in), and that stopped them from rattling around in there. Reply Quote. WebDec 30, 2011 · A quick fix is to fill the little square hole with a small piece of 1/4 inch rubber weather stripping that is fairly firm (not Foam) a little glue will ensure it stays in place. Better than having to track down and replace console. This jeeps interior is very cheaply made especailly the door panels and handles as well. Just not very durable.

When I went to close my mine recently the right side popped out of its clip; I am not sure how its secured in. But it doesn't close properly anymore and I have to put my sun glasses in the console bin.
